“Higlass productions is just as the name suggests: a core group of talented performers with special guests providing quality entertainment. Apparent is the commitment higlass has to engaging its audience in a thoughtful conversation about today’s most demanding social issues. While tackling social issues through music and theatre is not necessarily new, HiGlass manages it in a manner that is raw and refreshing.”

Songbird is a series devoted to songwriters, poets, and composers looking for a safe platform to perform their original works to a live audience. Performing in a bar has been postponed indefinitely for the time being, BUT that doesn’t mean the arts has to stop. We will be airing a live virtual show filled with an array of eclectic acts from all over the country that will be sharing what it’s been like for them to stay positive and creative through these long, hard months of quarantine.

Petting Zoo Concert
January 16th, 2021 - Location TBD
HiGlass Productions presents a selection of songs from their new rock musical, Petting Zoo.
Come join us as we debut 8 songs from our original musical Petting Zoo, a show portraying the grinding effect that a fascist regime can have on the “little people.” In their struggle to survive, they find themselves in the seedy underbelly of a dystopian near future, trapped in a piano bar and forced into servitude. Only each others’ support will get them through, and encourage them to stand up to their oppressor. Will their simple but brave acts of defiance amount to any true change?
This music only concert will give you a taste of what it’s like to be trapped in the Petting Zoo.
